WHAT I DO

I'm a systems thinker & people lover and thrive in collaboration with others to create, discover, and uncover together. Through curiosity and wonder, I’m fascinated, inspired and impassioned by the human ability to shift perspective and perception. And through such ability - how we are able to enhance, transform, and transcend our experiences and lives. In both my personal and professional work - I design experiences that aim for engaging, interesting, useful, and fun. If I can get all those together, then it just turns into magic.

I've taught with STEM-focused educational organizations such as Vision Education and Media and the NYC Center for Space Science Education (now NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics), among others. At the New York Hall of Science I opened the Maker Space and collaborated with Björk to implement her Biophilia Educational Project.

As one of the co-founders of RapidFTR, the research I conducted was integral to the development of an innovative mobile & desktop application and database system. This system leveraged emerging technologies and changed the way UNICEF and other NGOs gathered and accessed the incredible amount of data involved in family tracing and reunification, effectively streamlining their process. I also produced the inaugural Brooklyn Bugs, New York’s first 3-day festival that celebrated and explored the gastronomical and sustainable aspects of entomophagy (edible insects) .

UX & PRODUCT
From research and strategy to prototyping and testing, I design experiences and solutions with a user-centered approach to deliver better products and services.
ART & DESIGN
I lean towards whimsical & fun in my personal interactive projects: like self-inflating sculptures that detect presence or a musical interface that employs a lightsaber for live performance.
PRODUCTION
Communicating, connecting, and coordinating. Whether it's the wonderful world of edible insects or an amazing amalgam of music & community: I'll bring it all together and help make it happen.
